Leicester and League winner striker Jamie Vardy, responded to a previous instagram post by Harry Kane with a tweet and the tweet is absolutely hilarious!
Not only did Jamie Vardy become a premier league winner last night, he also managed to win tweet of the night after responding to a previous post that Spurs forward Harry Kane posted on Instagram 2 weeks ago featuring a pack of lions with the caption “…”
Kane was, of course, referring to the fact that Spurs were pursuing down the Foxes like lions. #PrideOfLions
Then due to the Spurs’ defeat last night at Stamford Bridge, Leicester City became Premier League winners.
It appears during the celebrations at Vardy’s residence, the comedic striker managed to find time to wittingly respond to Kane’s tweet with an iconic image from Disney’s The Lion King.
Proverbs 16:18 “Pride comes before a fall!”

One fan said “Ouch! Harry Kane’s going to need some Ointment after that burn!”
However Kane showed he was a still a good sport by posting a tweet congratulating Leicester on their victory saying – “Congratulations to Leicester on what they achieved,” he tweeted, and promised the team would come back stronger.
Spurs are currently in comfortable position for Champions league football, however they still need to secure second place as third place Arsenal are closing in with only 3 points between them followed by a 4th place Manchester City and a 5th Place Manchester United who have a game in hand on their rivals Manchester City.
